Pusha T has begun the rollout for his upcoming project, King Push and earlier this week he released the first single called “Drug Dealers Anonymous” featuring Jay Z.
While everyone is looking forward to a new album, a recent interview with Steve Stoute on Hot 97 revealed that Push has been credited with writing an old favorite, the famous McDonald’s jingle “I’m Lovin’ It.” Stoute’s marketing agency, Translation, was involved in the initial campaign. When asked about how much money Pusha made from the gig he answered with “Nobody was upset,” going on to say that he didn’t remember the exact number since it was over 11 years ago.
We all have fond memories of the golden arches, but maybe none as good as writing a jingle that went on to be a tag line around the world for years to come.
